Welcome to the
SACD Research Day
The next SACD Research Day is scheduled for 2028.
The Swiss Academy of Childhood Disability (SACD) Research Day has become an important platform for exchange and collaboration in the field of childhood-onset disability. Previous editions brought together researchers, clinicians, and students from across disciplines, featuring inspiring keynotes, presentations of innovative research, and lively discussions.

The most recent Research Day gathered over 50 participants and included presentations ranging from early study protocols to finalized research on topics such as pain, sleep, emotional health, AI-based assessment tools, and rehabilitation approaches. A dedicated forum also highlighted the value of inter-generational collaboration in research. Read the full report of the day here.

The next SACD Research Day will continue this tradition, offering opportunities for learning, interdisciplinary exchange, and networking. The program will include a keynote lecture, an Early Career Research Forum, and presentations of current research projects. Monetary prizes will be awarded for the best presentations, kindly supported by the Anna Müller Grocholski Foundation.

The General Assembly of the Swiss Cerebral Palsy Registry (Swiss-CP-Reg) will take place during the Research Day and is open to all interested parties.

We welcome participants from all career stages and backgrounds. Clinicians, professionals in education, and students interested in childhood disability are especially encouraged to attend.
